The Career Huddle: A Trauma-Informed Approach to Navigating the PNW Job Market

Join our 8-week cohort of fellow job seekers & career changers for a weekly professional resilience support group!

Wednesdays @ 11-12:30 pm Pacific (UTC+7)

Next Online Cohort Starting July 22nd

You already know the playbook. Optimize your resumé. Tailor your cover letter. Crank it all through some AI robot. Network strategically. Follow up persistently. (Rinse, repeat. Rinse, repeat. Rinse, repeat…)

Standard career coaching and traditional career counselors might hand you a checklist or a personality survey, then pat you on the head before expecting you to march off into what often feels like a marketplace firing squad. They might not acknowledge the full extent of what constant rejection does to a person’s nervous system, already running on fumes.

The modern job market in post-capitalist 2026 is simply broken. For so many professionals, job hunting is frankly retraumatizing. Chronic rejection, ghosting, and economic uncertainties… they all activate the same response circuitry as physical threats.

About The Career Huddle

This action-oriented 8-week cohort with 6-10 fellow professionals pairs practical career-change strategies with trauma-informed resilience-building to help you navigate today’s job market with camaraderie and compassion.

Our 90-minute agenda includes skill-sharing, peer support, local PNW networking opportunities, and member-led accountability.

Why Join Us?

You’re dedicated to emotional regulation, professional resilience, and strategic execution. We won’t just talk about LinkedIn and ATS algorithms; we build the mental muscle to handle the current PNW job market. This group seeks to build your psychological safety, personal resilience, and real-world professional networking skills so you can increase your emotional bandwidth and self-confidence.

Career Huddle Facilitator:

Typical Weekly Career Huddle Agenda

  • 15 Minutes: Kick-Off; building momentum and checking in with group members.

  • 30 Minutes: Triage & Deep Dive; tackling urgent needs like resume critiques, mock interview questions, or high-level market analysis and strategic planning discussion with immediate deadlines

  • 30 Minutes: Resource Expansion; this is where we’ll leverage peer networking, skill-sharing, implement practical brainstorming for specific challenges (e.g., salary negotiation, handling rejection), and generally build out your professional and emotional resilience toolkit.

  • 15 Minutes: Commitment to Action; each week, we’ll wrap up by having group members commit to two specific career action items: one for that afternoon and one before our next group.

Group Agreements

  1. Do Not Disturb: To honor the time and attention you and your peers are investing, group members are asked to close all email tabs, set phones to “Do Not Disturb,” and disable notifications for any other forums (e.g., Teams, Slack, Discord).

  2. Deep Work Mode: Please fuel up before logging in. Prioritize your self-care needs and any bio breaks *before* our session starts. We’re not going for the vibe of a “Lunch & Learn” with this particular group. :-)

  3. Be Ready to Engage: This is an action-oriented, video-on, locked-in session. Come prepared with at least one question or career challenge you’re facing, so we can all help solve it together.

REGISTRATION & RSVP

  1. Your Complimentary Consult is a very chill 20-min chat to ensure a mutual fit for the group.

  2. Mention your preferred price point during that consult.

  3. Complete your welcome packet and block off your calendar! (Links to join video calls will be sent automatically.)

Due to limited capacity, early registration is encouraged!
